Work day for projects and papers

Our current unit is on Shakespeare and his work

Our class website is going to be an indisposable tool for our class.  There will be information on each assignment, handouts for important notes, projects, and contact information for your instructor.  Students will be expected to use the website, as certain online assignments will be made each week for completion online.  This will be a very important lesson to learn before beginning college next year, an environment where technology is used constantly.  So, work hard and enjoy our year.

Don't forget!  Next week we will be attending the drama department's production of "Love's Labours Lost".  The play will be performed on Friday, November 15 at 7:00pm, Saturday, November 16 at 7:00pm, and Sunday, November 17 at 2:00pm.  I will be at all three performances and you MUST have me sign your assignment in order to receive credit.  The assignment is available in the handouts section.  Please print it and fill it out AFTER the play.  It will due the following Monday.

This week's online assignment

Paper Clip, Rotating

In class we have begun reading "Love's Labours Lost" in preparation for the drama production at the end of next week.  Answer the following question and email your response to me.

Which of the men do you find to the be the most honorable?  Who do you think will honor the oath?  Who will betray the oath?

EXTRA CREDIT!!!

Red Tumbling Puzzle Piece

Create a family tree for Shakespeare, including his mother, father, siblings, wife, and children.  It needn't be extravagant, only practical.  This will be worth 10 points extra credit.

Extra credit assignments are to be emailed to the instructor, NOT handed in during class.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me.  There is a link to my email on the "Meet Your Teacher" page.
